It’s that time of year again! Time to get together with friends and family, sip on spiced cider and enjoy your favorite holiday traditions. Orchard Ridge is located in Liberty Hill, Texas, an area that’s filled with small-town charm and hosts some seasonal festivities that you’re sure to love. Here a few local favorites.
Get a dose of fall at this Texas-sized pumpkin patch! They have the largest selection of pumpkins and gourds in the state, so you can scour the fields until you find the perfect one. You can also enjoy a Stranger Things-themed hay maze, play a variety of games, go on the tractor train and be amazed by magicians. You can make it a whole afternoon and grab lunch at the food trucks before visiting the selfie stations and photo ops. This year the Texas Pumpkin Fest runs every day until November 7.
BARKtacular HOWLoween Dog Festival
Have a pup with a swagger? The second-annual festival in Round Rock welcomes dogs for trick-or-treating, a costume contest and a lookalike contest! There are also vendors to shop at and kids’ activities to keep everyone happy. The event is on Saturday, October 23, and you do need to register in advance to participate in the contests. The entry fee includes swag items for all pup-ticipants!
Get ready to shop! This Holiday Bazaar has more than 20 vendors offering everything from baked goods to handmade jewelry. You can find some stellar and unique gifts, all while supporting local businesses. Santa will even make a guest appearance – so bring the kids to get a good picture! The Holiday Bazaar is a two-day event on November 12 and 13, 2021.
Liberty Hill Christmas Festival
This is one event you won’t want to miss. Each year the entire town of Liberty Hill gathers together to shop, eat and enjoy some live music. The kids can ice skate, play in real snow and even meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. That evening, the community gathers to cheer on the lighted Christmas parade, and ooh and aah at the lighted floats. This year the festival will be on Saturday, December 11 – we’ll see you there!
