Freehold Master-Planned Community Honored By National Association Of Home Builders

Freehold Communities is proud to announce that its Orchard Ridge master-planned community located north of Austin in Liberty Hill, Texas, has won two Silver Nationals Awards from the National Home Builders Association (NAHB): Best Landscape Design and Best Radio Commercial/Campaign.

Presented by the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC), a council of the NAHB, The Nationals honor the best of North America’s new-home sales and marketing initiatives, showcasing winners in distinguished national, regional and local publications.

Orchard Ridge’s landscape design is one of the most unique aspects of the community, as it integrates an orchard and farm row-style community gardens, as well as beautiful parks and trails throughout. The thoughtfully-designed neighborhoods within Orchard Ridge are a departure from the typical master-planned community, offering an exciting flavor like none other in the area.

The winning radio campaign was produced by White Hat Agency. The team used an “old-time” jingle coupled with descriptive, emotional language to maximize the reach of the weekend radio buy. It was designed to communicate Orchard Ridge’s key messages with target audiences.

“This spot features a catchy tune with memorable quotes to help our message rise above the clutter of an overly saturated real estate marketing space,” said Pat Stark, Principal of White Hat. “The campaign clearly expresses Orchard Ridge’s points of differentiation.”

Founded in 1982 as the Institute of Residential Marketing, The Nationals award program recognizes superior new-home sales and marketing achievements. With 61 categories across various disciplines of the new home industry, the awards honor excellence in product and community design, advertising, marketing and sales achievements by individuals and sales teams.

“The Nationals are the most prestigious awards of their kind, setting the benchmark for innovation in new home design, marketing and sales,” said Kelly Fink, chairperson of The Nationals. “NAHB’s commitment to recognizing originality, imagination and success has been exemplified by its award winners since the competition’s inception.”

In addition to receiving industry awards, Orchard Ridge is served by the top-rated Leander Independent School District (LISD), which remains one of the fastest-growing districts in Texas. LISD is ranked within the Top 20 districts in the state for both academics and athletics.
